This is a modular box press that can accommodate various ring gauges and produce a nice looking box pressed cigar. The base will serve many different numbers and sizes of cigars with changes to the spacers used. I will produce other custom sizes on request. Notes:
I would print these walls outside to inside to help with dimensional accuracy. The rest of the prints should be self explanatory. A block of wood can be used in place of printing a top , 7"x4.75", and should be at 0.5-0.75" thick. Current models available can press the following cigars. (" | " is a spacer, " O " is a cigar, " E " is the extra spacer)
48rg - 5 cigars - 8 total #48 spacers : ||O|O|O|O|O||
42rg - 6 cigars - 7 total #42spacers, and 1 42-extra spacer : |O|O|O|O|O|O|E
To come: extra wide cigar sized spacer so that smaller number of cigars can be printed.
Please note that for those serious about box pressed cigars, there are professionally made wood box presses available from Jake Roberts. You can reach Jake at his Instagram page @JLR_Cigars and on Facebook
