Low Poly Duck Pool Floater 🦆
This floating pool chemical dispenser combines a fun low poly duck design with a practical, removable screw on basket for pool chemical tablets. Simply place a tablet inside the basket, screw it onto the duck, and let it float on the surface while gradually releasing the chemicals into the pool water.
The design uses the same basket and tablet system as the Benchy Pool Chemical Dispenser, so the basket is interchangeable between the two models.
The standard version is designed for small pool chemical tablets from 2.5 cm (1 inch) up to 3 cm in diameter.
The basket can be easily screwed on and removed, making it simple to insert or replace the chemical tablets.
Print Settings:
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Walls: 3–4
Infill: 8–15%
Supports: required for the Duck
Support Structure: Touching Buildplate
Support Overhang Angle: 80°
Or Overhang Threshold: 5°
Only the threaded part requires supports.
Recommended Filament
For better resistance to chlorine and prolonged exposure to pool water, ASA or PP are recommended over PLA.
