DISCLAIMER: Make sure to use an appropriate filter!
Filter need to comply to at least ISO 12312-2 or similar, I used these:

Solar Filter Sheet 210 x 210 mm for Telescopes, Binoculars & Cameras - DIY Solar Film for Sunspot & Eclipse Observation - Absolute Eclipse, OD 5.6, ISO 12312-2 Tested : Amazon.de: Electronics & Photo

I designed my own frame for the recent solar eclipse.

You need:

  • 1x front part

  • 2x frame part

  • 1x arm part

  • 1x arm part, mirrored in the slicer (normally x axis)

  • 2x M2x12 screw

  • 2x small filter sheet with 3.3cm x 4.8cm

Assembly:

  • Print the parts

  • Cut the filter sheets with the dimensions listed above

  • Place cut filter sheets in the front part (read the filter manual for the correct orientation, in the linked filter I used the silver side needs to face the sun)

  • The frames  have thin chamfers on the longer side.
Easiest way to insert them is to start with the lower side, then press the upper side into place, see the frame placement picture

  • Attach the arms with the two screws

Depending on your head size, you can scale the arm lenth
