This is Moonbeam, A Rippcar remix featuring a collet (more specifically the threading from the Ontos). It's been done a few times before, but I haven't been happy with any of the ones I've been able to find. All of them have some issue, be it them being obnoxiously difficult to get the barrel in straight, the collet threads being so shallow that the body randomly falls off during gameplay, needing additional hardware, being wobbly on the barrel once attached, etc. This fixes all of those issues! The barrel aligns easily, the collet doesn't fall off, it doesn't wobble, and doesn't require any additional hardware. Other than that, it's just another colleted Rippcar. Oh and it has additional angled porting, which should help if you're severely underbarreled.

Due to this having proper barrel alignment and a very girthy collet, it requires at least 6cm of exposed barrel to attach when the standard collet is used. With the slim collet, it requires 4.5cm.

As with any printed pcar, make sure to paint the internal seam so it doesn't mess with any of the rotating protrusions, and use the lowest layer height you're comfortable with. All parts have been pre oriented for printing, and no supports are required.

Huge thanks to Thanh and Impulse Ungineering!
