This is the Ludy Lock, it was designed for Law Enforcement application with safety in mind. As I was designing this device I saw a practical application for parents and guardians. This device is for parents or guardians of young children or dependent adults who disconnect their seatbelt while the vehicle in motion. This device is also designed to fit most Law Enforcement Patrol Vehicle's transport cages.
How it works.
This device slides over the seatbelt receiver and blocks the button release. The seatbelt then is inserted through the wide slit until it clicks. To release the seatbelt use a tool thinner than 7mm x 7mm and compress the seat belt release. THIS FILE INCLUDES A RELEASE TOOL.
