BOM not final count:

  • 1    X 5mmx6mm ball detent

  • 2   X mt6816 angle encoder

  • 2   X 696 bearing OR 2 X YP066

  • 30 X voron heatset inserts give or take

  • 20 X (m3 10mm SHCS),  8 X (m3 16mm FHCS), 10 X (m3 6mm FHCS)

  • 1    X 10mm indicator light 3.3V or 5V

  • 1    X pi pico 2 and pcb grbl files attached.

  • 6   X Cherry mx key switches and dsa profile keys

  • 1    X cv4 type panel joystick (momentary switches)

  • 1    X usb keystone plug for pico usb passthrough

Recommended Upgrade 1: replace the 696 bearing and 696 printed parts in each handle with a YP066 fricton hinge if you want tune-able resistance. Slightly loosen the nut to take hinge from 0.5Nm-1.0Nm stock to something like 0.2Nm

Recommended Upgrade 2: the four 50mmx50mm lever mounting plates can be cut laser cut out of ~2mm mild steel, was about $6 a plate on sendcutsend, so $24 a set minus s&h cost unless you order mutliple.

speed knob has a m8 thread and I am just using a random knob i found.

Print each part in shared handle twice, everything else once.

front printed in position with supports to get good surface finish

Buttons are keyboard cherry mx switch with dsa keycaps.
