Standard plastic rivets make removing and reattaching the plexiglass panels on the Prusa Core One(+) a real chore.

The minimalistic magnetic rivets come off and attach within seconds. No fiddling and no tools required.

Two of the four variants add a second function: mounting PTFE tubes for filament fed from an external spool or dry box.

Four Variants

  • Standard rivet: The plain panel fastener. Magnets drop in from the top. Fastest print.

  • Standard rivet with closing cap: Same function as variant 1, but the magnets slide in sideways and a separate cap closes the top.

  • PTFE-cap: Snaps magnetically onto the standard rivet and carries up to three 4 mm OD PTFE tubes. Apply super glue if necessary.

  • PTFE rivet: One-piece, one integrated tube pass-through. Lower profile than variant 3, where a single tube is enough. Magnets slide in from the side.

All three versions are held via two 10 × 3 mm round magnets.
