Overview

Precision long-range shooting demands consistency, not just in your brass and powder, but in your workflow and environmental conditions. This modular 100-round loading block is specifically designed for the .308 Winchester and Creedmoor cartridge families (6.5mm, 6mm, etc.). Split into three interlocking parts for easy printing and transport, it features dedicated slots for standard digital thermometer and hygrometer modules. This allows you to closely monitor temperature and ambient humidity at your bench or on the range—crucial variables for powder stability, handloading safety, and ultimate ballistic repeatability.

Why use this?

  • Environmental Monitoring: Integrated slots for a mini thermometer and hygrometer let you track humidity and temperature, ensuring optimal conditions for your powder and primers.

  • Modular 3-Part Design: Prints in three separate sections, making it compatible with smaller 3D printer beds and easy to disassemble for storage or transport in your range bag.

  • High Capacity & Perfect Fit: Holds exactly 100 rounds for large batch reloading or extended range sessions, with perfectly sized holes to prevent .308/Creedmoor cases from wobbling.

  • Bench Organization: Keeps your workspace clean, structured, and visually professional during complex reloading stages.

Technical Specifications & Printing

  • Material: PETG or PLA+ recommended. If you plan to use it at outdoor ranges under direct sunlight, consider PETG or ASA for better heat resistance.

  • Layer Height: 0.20mm offers the perfect balance between print speed and dimensional accuracy for the cartridge holes and gauge press-fits.

  • Walls/Perimeters: 3 to 4 wall loops to ensure the interlocking joints and outer walls remain durable over time.

  • Infill: 15% to 20% (Gyroid or Cubic) is sufficient to provide structural support without wasting filament.

  • Hardware Needed: Designed for standard round mini digital thermometer/hygrometer modules (typically ~42mm / 1.6" diameter).

How to Use

  1. Print the three separate modules flat on your build plate.

  2. Slide the interlocking joints together to assemble the full 100-round tray.

  3. Press-fit your mini thermometer and hygrometer into their designated slots.

  4. Use it to stage your brass during the handloading process or take it to the range for quick access during your shooting sessions.
