I wanted to see how well a fully 3D-printed FPV drone frame could work, and this was the result. So far, it flies reasonably well, although I haven't done any tuning yet. My completed build has an AUW of about 205 g with a 3S 650 mAh battery and camera installed.
The frame is assembled using M2 hardware threaded directly into the plastic. So far, this has held up well through several lower-speed crashes.
For printing, I would recommend using a rigid material for the main/top frame and a more impact-resistant material for the prop guards. On my build, the prop guards are printed in PLA+, with an additional PEBA bumper fitted around the outside for extra impact protection.
The frame uses 25.5 mm flight-controller mounting spacing, with holes for M2 bolts to secure the FC. There is also an additional 20 mm mounting pattern that can be used for a VTX or smaller flight controller.
This drone was designed primarily around an analog FPV system, so larger digital video systems may not fit without modification. The camera mount is designed for a 14 mm-wide FPV camera.
I've also included the STEP files for anyone who wants to modify the design, adapt it to different hardware, or make improvements.
