This project allows you to build a fully functional hand-cranked phone charger.
The core of the design is a custom 3D printed casing that holds a brushless motor. By turning the handle, you spin the internal coils through a magnetic field to generate electricity.
Because this specific motor outputs AC voltage, the circuit uses a full-bridge rectifier to convert it to DC.
We also connect several capacitors in parallel to stabilize the electrical output. These capacitors act as a small buffer to store energy and smooth out any voltage spikes.
The clean DC power is then routed to a USB module, providing enough stable juice to safely charge your phone.
All parts are designed to print easily without supports, making this a perfect educational weekend project.
