This is a Multibin insert for storing rulers at a 45° angle, using the empty space above a Multiboard that would otherwise go unused.

It's a single block — print two, orient them differently, and use them as a pair:

  • The endstop sits lower and stops the rulers sliding down and off.

  • The support sits one LU higher and holds the rulers up, stopping them from tipping over.

Mount the endstop low and the support one LU higher — for example using bolt-locked shelves angled at 45° — and a ruler bridges between the two, extending up past the top edge of your Multiboard instead of taking up space on it.

Each block holds up to 5 rulers side by side. Any width or length works — the dividers just space them out.

Mount with a Micro Shell and Insert Pins, whether you're using shelving or attaching straight to your Multiboard wall.

Inspired by this ruler holder, which stores rulers flat. I wanted something that would let rulers extend past the board edge instead, to save space.
