Print two pieces and press-fit them together before pushing or pounding it into the wall. The plug can be assembled after the cable has passed through the wall hole.
I designed this for a 3/4" diameter hole because I could not find a similar model elsewhere, and because I wanted there to be little-to-no gaps that could let bugs through. When printed in PETG, it did the job perfectly and was tough enough to be hammered into place.
Recommended Print Settings:
0.2mm layer height
No brim
Grid infill, 15% (10% gyroid should also work)
No supports needed
Print with the large, flat face on the build plate. The press-fit pins need to be horizontal to maximize shear strength.
