I replaced the original rivet with an M6 screw and nut. Do not tighten too hard as the parts should move. Usage of a locknut is recommended.

Versions

  • Fuxtec Connector has the thickest joint

  • Fuxtec Connector Slim has an 0.4mm thinner joint

  • Fuxtec Connector Extraslim has an 1mm thinner joint (than the thickest)

  • Make your own: If none of the above fit into your tubes, I provided a STEP-file so you can adjust as you like.

Print settings

  • Material: I first printed in PLA to test which version of the connector fits in the steel tube. On my handcart both tubes were differently sized. I intended to switch to PETG later, but currently the PLA holds.

  • Supports: Supports on baseplate

  • **Infill:** 70% Gyroid
