The Cold Snap Wedge is a 3D-printable card stopper and row divider made for multi-row cardboard storage boxes, like standard BCW and Monster boxes. It clips right over the cardboard partition wall to keep partial rows upright so your cards never slide, slump, or get bent.
The hook features a built-in flexible spring finger that automatically adjusts to grip both thin 2mm outer box walls and standard 5mm interior dividers. At 75mm wide and 110mm tall, it cleanly clears raw cards, penny sleeves, and toploaders while letting the box lid close with zero clearance issues.
Files are open-source and customizable via OpenSCAD under the Cold Front Forge project.
EDITIONS & FILES
Plate 1 (Dual Hook): Clips over both adjacent partition walls for maximum stability in center rows.
Plate 2 (Right Hook): Clips over the right partition wall for edge rows.
Plate 3 (Left Hook): Clips over the left partition wall for edge rows.
RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS
Orientation: Flat on the front face (no supports needed).
Material: PLA, PLA+, or PETG.
Layer Height: 0.20 mm.
Walls: 4 to 5 perimeters (critical so the spring finger prints 100% solid and retains its flex).
Infill: 15% to 20% Gyroid.
