I wanted a reusable straw holder that wasn't dependent on every straw having the exact same diameter or an oversized silicone end to keep it from falling through.

This design uses a two-tier system instead:

The upper section has generously sized rounded rectangular openings that loosely guide the straws, while the lower section acts as a divided basket with a solid bottom. The straw rests on the lower basket rather than being supported by a tight-fitting hole, making it suitable for a much wider range of reusable straws.

I originally designed this around a mixture Ello straws and larger stainless/plastic straws, but the oversized compartments make it useful for many other straw sizes as well.

The design also includes four integrated accessory hooks — one on each side of both the upper and lower sections. These work well for hanging straw-cleaning brushes, small bottle brushes, loops, or other kitchen accessories.

The back is intentionally kept flat because I designed mine to attach to the inside of a cabinet door using double-sided mounting tape/VHB, rather than screws.

Parametric OpenSCAD

The included OpenSCAD file allows the organizer to be resized for your own collection instead of being locked into my dimensions.

For example, you can change the number and width of the straw compartments, basket depth, distance between the upper and lower sections, and hook dimensions without remodeling the part.

My goal was to make this more of a universal reusable-straw organizer than a holder designed around one particular brand of straw.

If you print one or modify the OpenSCAD parameters for a different setup, I'd love to see your version.
