!!!DO NOT USE THIS MODEL IN A REAL STEEL FIREARM. THE PART MAY NOT WITHSTAND THE RECOIL FORCE AND COULD DAMAGE THE WEAPON OR CAUSE INJURY!!!
The model is designed exclusively for gas-powered airsoft replicas.
This model serves primarily as a replacement for the original part should it break. However, the original intent behind the design was to resolve issues with the bolt catch failing to engage on my DE Noveske N4 GBBR. The part is designed to allow for easy length adjustment, thereby controlling how far the bolt travels into the buffer tube after firing. Consequently, two versions are provided: one with original dimensions and another that is 1mm shorter (shortening it by 1mm fixed the bolt catch issue on my GBBR). If a 1mm reduction isn't enough for your setup, you can easily cut Part B in your slicer to shorten it further (shorten the wider part—the side facing towards the tube.).
The model is fully compatible with the original spring and pin (though you may need to slightly enlarge the pin hole). Print using supports and a material capable of withstanding mechanical stress; I used PETG, and everything is working flawlessly so far. Before first use, I recommend verifying that the assembled parts move freely; if they don't, use some sandpaper. I also recommend applying a small amount of lubricant on spring and Part B.

Print instructions
When printing, prioritize maximum strength. I recommend using a high number of perimeters (around 30).
Postproccesing
After printing, ensure the model is free of burrs, as these could increase friction. Add some lube on Part B and spring for smooth cycling.
If you have any questions about the model, are unclear on the assembly, or need to adjust the dimensions for your specific GBBR, please send me a message.
