This is an AddOn to my universal, stackable Piers for Unitrack & Viaducts:
https://www.printables.com/model/1682724-universal-stackable-piers-for-unitrack-and-viaduct
to add catenary pole bases.
The bases are made for use with viaduct tracks or directly with Unitrack and each for three distances. KATO itself knows two different types of catenary pole bases for double tracks:
a) one for normal track and viaducts with a distance of 69mm from pole axis to pole axis or 18mm from centre of track to centre of pole, used for example with 23-060
b) one to use with new slab roadbed viaducts (like 20-401) with a distance of 83mm from pole axis to pole axis or 25mm from centre of track to centre of pole, used for example with 23-061
For my wider version of DIY-viaducts for Kato’s Unitrack we need another pole base of:
c) a distance of 73mm from pole axis to pole axis or 20mm from centre of track to centre of pole, that by obvious reason will go only with single track poles like 23-059
Hope you enjoy these extended possibilities to create viaducts and ramps with KATO’s great track system. Happy printing and a lot of fun with your model railway layout!
Please note:
KATO’s Unitrack is the first and only choice in n-scale for mobile layouts and one of the best track systems in general:
