The 10 Degrees Perfect Logitech Keyboard Stand is a sturdy, minimalist keyboard stand designed around the Logitech MX Mechanical.

The stand raises the keyboard into a comfortable 10° typing position while keeping it securely supported. Its triangular locking structure provides a rigid base, while the integrated front and rear hooking geometry keeps the keyboard securely positioned during normal use.

The design uses two matching 3D-printed stands, supporting the keyboard across its width without permanently modifying it.

Key features

  • 10° typing angle for a comfortable elevated position

  • Two-piece stand design for stable keyboard support

  • Triangular locking geometry for increased rigidity

  • Secure hooking to help prevent the keyboard from sliding

  • Adjustable positioning to accommodate different setups

  • Non-destructive — no drilling, screws, or permanent keyboard modification

  • Designed around the Logitech MX Mechanical

  • Lightweight but structurally reinforced

  • Designed for common FDM 3D printing

  • Shown in Silver Silk PLA for a clean metallic appearance

The design is intended as an ergonomic positioning aid for people who prefer a raised keyboard angle or need additional control over keyboard placement. It can also be useful for adapting a workstation to different typing positions.

The contest allows ergonomic supports, typing-elevation stands, and positioning aids as valid directions for the MX Mechanical challenge.

Installation / Use

  1. Print two stands.

  2. Place the stands on a stable, level desk surface.

  3. Position them beneath the Logitech MX Mechanical.

  4. Engage the keyboard with the integrated hooks.

  5. Adjust the spacing/position of the two stands to match your setup.

  6. Check that the keyboard is fully seated before typing.

No permanent modification to the keyboard is required.

Printing

Recommended starting settings:

  • Material: PLA / Silk PLA

  • Layer height: 0.20 mm

  • Perimeters: 4

  • Top layers: 5

  • Bottom layers: 5

  • Infill: 25%

  • Infill pattern: Gyroid or Grid

  • Supports: None if your slicer confirms the model prints cleanly in the supplied orientation

  • Brim: Not normally required

  • Nozzle: 0.4 mm

  • First layer: 0.20 mm

  • Print speed: Normal/standard-quality profile

For Silver Silk PLA, use the temperature range recommended by the filament manufacturer and make sure the first layer is well adhered.

Because the stand is intended to support a keyboard, use sufficient walls/perimeters rather than relying only on high infill.

Compatibility

Designed specifically around the Logitech MX Mechanical keyboard geometry. Logitech provides official simplified CAD reference files for the MX Mechanical, which are intended to help designers develop compatible add-ons.

Keyboard not included.

Files

Include:

  • STL — ready to slice

  • 3MF

  • STEP — editable source

  • Any additional CAD/source format used to create the model

The contest specifically requests an editable source such as STEP, Fusion 360, OpenSCAD, or Onshape.
