I made these cherry blossom-inspired coasters. The raised outer edge helps keep your cup in place, while the bottom rim allows the coasters to stack neatly when not in use.
I highly recommend using PETG for warm cups! PLA is fine for cold cups, but will deform with tea and coffee cups.
You can pause and add a color change at layer 26 (5.2 mm), for a different colored outer edge.
Print settings (included in the 3mf file if you use Prusa slicer):
Supports enabled (important). I used the default snug supports. They are easy to remove with your finger
0.2 mm layer height
15% gyroid infill
Top solid infill/top layer speed: 50 mm/s
The coasters are 6 mm thick and approximately 110 mm wide. They fit regular sized cups.
