Turtle Neck 2: Remastered

Turtle Neck 2 is back! Rebuilt around the new Compensator linear filament buffer.

TN2R combines a Klipper MCU and filament buffer into one compact system, keeping wiring clean while providing accurate, continuous buffer position feedback. The new Compensator Hall sensor array provides a true linear position signal with known endpoints and is natively supported by AFC with no sensor calibration required.

One TN2R can also support up to five additional Compensator buffers, for a total of six buffers from a single MCU. The additional inputs can alternatively be used as conventional endstops for filament sensors, remote hubs, and other accessories.

Features

  • Compensator linear Hall sensor array

  • Native AFC support

  • Up to 6 Compensator buffers per MCU

  • 5 additional ADC/endstop inputs

  • USB connectivity

  • Optional 24V + CAN

  • NeoPixel/RGB output

  • Modular inlet for buffer-mounted filament hubs

  • Compatible with the original TN2 mounting footprint

TN2R is particularly well suited for filament changers, autoloaders, and tool changers with auto loaders and or filament changers on individual tools.

Hardware kits are available from Pulsar3D.
