Modular and Parametric Case for Framework 12 Mainboards

This case is generated using PythonScad. Feel free to adjust parameters to generate exactly the case you need. Let me know if any of the measurements do not quite fit, I designed this case exclusively based on the official CAD model, since I do not own a Framework 12 mainboard to test with.

Pregenerated Variations:

• Plain case

• Case with additional ventilation

Screw variations:

• loose: loose fit, does not interact with the threading of the screw

• screw_in: Tight fit, the screw is directly screwed into the plastic

  • capped: Capped at the outside, so the screw is not visible from that side

  • countersunk: the screw head screws into the model such that the screw head is flush with the model

• threaded_insert: Cutout for a M2 threaded insert with a length of 4mm

Additional Material Required

• 5 M2 screws, lenght depending on the specific variation used, but generally M2x12 should be a good start for the pre-generated cases

• Optionally 5 M2 Threaded inserts (with a length of 4mm)
