See sammycdub's dreo-rf-control project (https://github.com/sammycdubs/dreo-rf-control) for the rest of the build. If needed, the transmitter can be flashed to be used as a receiver for collecting bit codes as they appear to be unique to each fan.
Case is designed specifically for the Seeed XIAO-ESP32-C6 and Adafruit RFM69HCW modules. Case requires no additional hardware. Ports open for USB-C on the ESP32 module, dipole whip antenna for RFM module, Boot and Reboot buttons, ventilation, and drainage holes for resin printing that conveniently open several breakout/solders for testing.
Model includes two parts: body and lid. There is enough space to use all breakouts for soldering, and the cards should fit with minimal friction. The cards are held in place by friction, the lid, and each other. Current configuration blocks some of the breakouts, but the model can easily be modified to open up the ones you need. There's enough room for either minimal length or loose lengths of wires, even with my awful soldering skills.
Resin optimized.
Required hardware:
For this print, none.
For the project:
Seeed XIAO-ESP32-C6 (or similarly designed card)
Adafruit RFM69HCW (or similarly designed card)
Wires (24 gauge is great)
Soldering equipment (or conductive glue, etc.)
