I'm a Minecraft fan, and I wanted something cool for my desk that would actually work. So I built a working Minecraft TNT. It's 10x10x10 cm, just like my working jukebox, but to me, this TNT is way cooler.

Parts (links):

Screw and inserts:

  • 4x M2.5x8mm screw

  • 6x M2.5x4mm screw

  • 2x M2.5x14mm screw

  • 4x M2.5x4mm Heat insert

Springs:

  • 1x 50x13mm normal spring

  • 4x torsion spring 15x30mm

A very detailed guide, including the electronic schematic, is available here

How to Reset TNT:

  1. Reset the side panels:

Loosen the two screws holding the servo plate, re-hook the 4 arms into position, and tighten the screws back down.

  2. Lock the top lid:

    • Manually push the top servo latch back towards the battery holder. it needs to touch it.

    • Power cycle the TNT (turn it off and back on).

    • You now have a 15-second window: place the top lid on and hold it down gently until the servo automatically moves and locks it into place.

I did everything myself from the ground up so I would really appreciate it if you could rate this model. If you have any questions about the code or wiring, just ask me in the comments or send me DM!
