Last minute posting as I've spent all day finishing this up.
This is an idea to utilize the endless possibilities of having a spoolholder cap that's modular. I've used screws for my first proof of concept but I can imagine some strong magnets being a great solution for better modularity.
I STRONGLY encourage people to try and come up with more variations of what could be mounted onto the spoolholders in the future. Message me with ideas or make your own, the reason I'm sharing the base puck for remixing.
Thanks to Scott for making a cap for the printed spool holder. With his permission I've made iterations of the system but for the printed holder.
My first real example is a videogame controller holder. In some of the pictures don't mind my hand, I don't have the injection molded spoolholder yet.
Printing: 0.2mm is good, no supports needed. 3 pieces of 3x4mm hear inserts needed as well as 3 pieces of 12x3mm screws
