I was getting wheel disconnects, usually during higher FFB events like riding curbs.
This little spacer, placed on the inside of the base side QR PCB eliminated this issue for me.
The spacer is 0.2 mm thick, which is standard tolerance for 1.6 mm PCBs. I suspect some QR batches may be on the lower end of the tolerance and can be put just out of reach of the pogo pins while the base is creating vibrations.
It is an alternative to the "spring mod" from VRS discord.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
I have used it for couple months now, including some endurance races and fairly frequent wheel swaps.
I have not seen increased wear on the base side PCB pads.
However due to the nature of tolerances I cannot guarantee that 0.2 mm is the ideal size for you.
Printing
I have printed mine in PETG on a 0.25 mm nozzle using 0.1 mm first layer and two 0.05mm layers.
