Simple corner supports for dividing an IKEA Eket in two. It holds a thin MDF plank as a horizontal divider, halfway the Eket cabinet.
Print settings
No special print settings used. Infill and wall settings to your preference, 15% infill is plenty. No supports needed.
What to print?
Eket with door hinges left
Print the "support - other" 3 times, and "support - front left" once.
Eket with door hinges right
Print the "support - other" 3 times. Print "support - front right" once.
Eket without door
Print the "support - other" 4 times.
Assembly
Prepare a 4 mm panel: cut wood or metal/aluminium, or 3d print something. (My print bed is too small to fit it, that's why I used wood.)
Remove the door of the Eket (if you have one).
Slide the wood plank into the corner supports.
Optionally use screws:
Mark the screw holes and drill 4 mm holes through the wood.
Attach the printed corner supports with M4 countersunk screws.
Place inside the Eket.
Replace the Eket door (if you have one).
Questions? Need adjustments?
For example, if you use a plank that's not 4 mm thick, I can adjust the model. Please add a comment, I always read them.
