I have a certain amount of neuropathy in my hands, so am constantly dropping small parts, and also being afflicted with cataracts, I often found myself on my hands and knees looking for them. What I needed was a magnetic sweeper that would do the job for me ... and this one works extremely well. It finds and picks up nuts, washers, pins and screws etc; and the low profile allows it to roll under most pieces of furniture. The only design consideration was for it not look too industrial.
