My car never had the original part, which you also cant buy anymore, so this is just based on the tank and pictures I found online. You will have to buy part 61311388548, preferably aftermarket, because you will have to cut it open and expose the contacts. You may have to cut the tube to size, I am not sure how long the original is. Solder the contacts, I used 2.8mm Faston Connectors on the top (My car didnt have the plug, so I am not sure if it fits). Glue in the bottom part, pour in some Epoxy or anything that can make the plastic watertight and finally glue on the top part. Afterwards rotate the part to spread the epoxy inside.
