This is a simple armrest I made for my 2017 silverado.
When I upgraded my truck several years ago from a 2001 to 2017 silverado, the most irritating difference between the two was the distance between the steering column gear selector the radio. The shift lever on older trucks provided a convenient armrest to browse channels on the radio, mess with the ventilation, etc... If you are reading this far, you know exactly what I am talking about.
Pins- 6mm tall, 5mm diameter
Armrest - 160 x 80 x 20mm
Bolt - 150mm tall, 1 inch diameter, (25.4mm) and 14 threads per inch
Nut - 150mm tall, 70mm or 75mm diameter (depends on how worn out cupholder is) 70mm works great for my truck
The bolt could be a little shorter, but it works and allows for optimum height selection. If you dont want the extra threads showing, you could cut the nut to the approprite size and thread it all the way on once you find your desired height. Do not change the height, because that will mess up the thread pattern.
This should work well for (according to google) as they all have the same center console layout. It could probably work with many other vehicle makes and models, too.
