22 accessories for openGrid walls, all with openConnect slots on the back. Push openConnect snaps into your tiles, put the part on the heads, slide it 10.6 mm down: a small nub clicks over the head and holds it. Lift and pull to take it off.

  • Hooks: single 30, 50 and 80 mm reach; double hooks 40 and 70 mm reach (27 mm gap, for hammers and pliers)

  • Shelves: 56 × 60 and 84 × 100 mm, with a lip and a diagonal brace

  • Screwdriver racks: 5 holes Ø 11 mm (handles up to about 30 mm) and 9 holes Ø 7 mm for precision screwdrivers

  • Gridfinity shelves: 2 × 1 and 4 × 1 units, official baseplate profile, standard bins drop in

  • Roll holders: 76 mm (3 in) tape cores, rolls up to 120 mm and 50 mm wide; 38 mm cores for electrical tape or twine spools

  • Spray can holders: one or two cans up to Ø 66 mm, and one for cans or bottles up to Ø 52 mm

  • Bins: 28, 56 and 84 mm wide

  • Cable clips for Ø 6, 10 and 16 mm cables

What you need

  • openConnect snaps and screws by mitufy (free): https://www.printables.com/model/1559478

  • One head per slot you use. Every 28 mm cell of a part has a slot: use the top row at least, all of them for heavy loads

  • Fits wherever the openConnect snaps fit: openGrid tiles, 28 mm grid

Print settings

  • PLA or PETG, 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layers

  • 3 walls, 15 % infill, no supports, no brim

  • The STL files are already in print orientation. Hooks, shelves, racks, roll holders and clips print on their side, so the layers follow the load: no layer line runs across a hook arm. Bins, double hooks, Gridfinity shelves and can holders print upright

  • Side-printed parts lie on the slot side that carries the lock nub, as openConnect recommends

  • starter-plate.3mf: 12 parts on one 250 × 220 mm bed, about 180 g of filament (estimate)

  • Parts weigh 4 to 90 g (estimates)

Checked before upload

  • openConnect head modelled from the official library: it goes in straight, slides the full 10.6 mm, clicks over the nub and sits with 0.07 mm of clearance

  • No overhang steeper than 45° outside the slots; the slots only have the 0.9 mm bridges openConnect plans for

  • One solid body per file; every back plate stays inside its own cells, 0.2 mm from the next part

  • Gridfinity bin foot (official profile) checked in every pocket

The whole pack comes from one Python script (gen.py, manifold3d): reach, width, cell count, hole sizes, core diameters, can sizes. The openConnect slot is in opengrid.py.

Designed with AI assistance (parametric Python script).
