This is a compact two-part surface-mount enclosure designed to hold up to 3 single-pole miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), specifically modeled for standard European modules like the ABB System Pro M Compact S200 (1-pole, 16A) or any compatible 18 mm wide DIN-rail devices.

It is ideal for sub-panels, workshops, DIY electrical projects, campervans, or home automation setups.

Design Features:
  • Capacity: Holds up to 3 standard modules (4 x 18 mm / 4TE).

  • Two Base Versions included:

    1. Integrated 3D-Printed DIN Rail: Fully 3D-printable without needing extra metal rail hardware.

    2. Flat Base for Standard Metal DIN Rail: Features pre-drilled pilot holes so you can mount a cut piece of a standard 35 mm metal DIN rail (EN 50022).

  • Easy Assembly: Screw the base plate to the wall, snap/mount your breakers, place the top cover over the assembly, and secure it with 4x M3 screws.

Required Hardware:
  • Wall mounting: Screws/plugs suitable for your wall type

  • Cover fastening: 4x M3 screws (length depending on your model, e.g. M3x12 or M3x16) + matching nuts/threaded inserts

  • (Optional for the flat base version): 1x short piece of standard 35 mm top-hat DIN rail + mounting screws

Print Settings & Recommendations:
  • Material: PETG, ABS, ASA, or PC is strongly recommended. (Avoid PLA due to low heat deflection temperature and poor fire resistance). If possible, use flame-retardant filament (e.g. UL94 V-0 rated).

  • Walls / Perimeters: At least 3–4 for structural strength

  • Infill: 20–30% (Grid or Gyroid)

  • Supports: Depending on your orientation (usually not needed if printed flat on the base surfaces).

⚠ Safety Warning / Disclaimer:

Mains voltage (230V AC) is dangerous and can be lethal. Working on electrical installations should only be carried out by qualified electricians in accordance with local regulations and standards. 3D-printed parts do not generally meet standard commercial flame-retardancy (V-0) or electrical insulation certifications unless certified materials are used. Use this design at your own risk.
