The Hallbar frame is quite cumbersome to remove as you either have to unscrew the rails completely or unscrew the rails from the frame from the underside.
I have the frame mounted under the sink, so it also gets in the way when I have to work on the sink or the piping behind it.

Mounting
  • Unscrew the rails from the frame

  • Remove the little flat connector plate from the rails (the ones that hold down the rail with the screw you just unscrewed)

  • Use the original screw to screw in the snap mounts instead

  • Slide the rails beneath the plastic hooks in the back of the frame like normal and then just snap them into place

  • Be careful on the initial snap-off as it may require quite a bit of additional strength! Subsequent snaps will be easier.

Usage
  • Remove bins from frame

  • Pull the front of the frame up to unsnap

  • Lift the frame back a bit to unhook and then lift off

  • To snap back on simply hook the frame back into the plastic hooks in the back and snap the frame back down in front, it should give a satisfying snap

Print instruction
  • Use PETG or similar (PLA might be too brittle)

  • Print sideways with either of the flat side of the spring laying on the bed for most strength

  • At least 3 perimeters with 0.6mm nozzle, 4 perimeters with 0.4mm (the spring should be completely perimeters)

  • Supports shouldn't be required

  • Layer height doesn't matter much, I used 0.2mm

  • One for each side, no need to mirror
