I needed an egg tray for the fridge that could hold 12 eggs, so I designed this model specifically for vase / spiralized printing. It prints in about 2 hours, comes out nice and smooth, with a nice textured finished on top from your build plate.
Print with 5 bottom layers - more if you want - use spiralized or vase mode printing with 0.2mm layer height and 0.6mm or thicker walls. I printed in PETg and also needed a brim to keep the corners from lifting.
These settings can be used with a 0.4mm nozzle (yes, even using a thicker wall setting!), but it may come out a little sturdier with a larger nozzle if you need a little more rigidity. I printed mine with 0.4mm and it came out great.
Once it's done, carefully remove it from the build plate, flip it over and stick it in the fridge!
The larger 12 egg version was printed on my CR-10 (300x300mm bed), oriented diagonally. For smaller printers, just print 2 of the 6 egg versions and glue together.
Eggsellent!
