The Open Source Universal Ball Joint by DieZopfe is fun to play with. I made some ball heads with Arca-Swiss plates (not published yet) and therefore I cut the nut in two halfes with a larger collar holding them in place. I used that design even for this project.
A 30 mm long Whitworth screw is needed. No glue is necessery.
Made for light cameras. Combine the ball head with the table tripod by Sketchpunk.
