This is Beresheet, the Israeli lunar lander made by SpaceIL.
Beresheet is a demonstrator of a small robotic lunar lander. Its aims include promoting careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
I have made and printed this model to celebrate this scientific achievement, and so anyone could have a small reminder of what the human race can do.
Feel free to print, remix and play with it :)

Notes:

I have printed this model in 2 parts. First only the top disc, and then the rest of the bottom, this way I didn't need to add supports next to the 4 fuel tanks.
The model is 1:1 scale, and I have printed it at 1:12 (10cm x 10cm x 6.2cm)
Please note that if you resize it, the smallest part is the rods connecting the platforms and the legs, and if they are too small the print might fail.

Post-Printing

Glue the top disc to the bottom - the 4 fuel tanks might be higher than the poles, so either glue to them or sand them down a bit.

How I Designed This

Downloaded all the photos I could find and downloaded a bunch of photos to get as much visual coverage of Beresheet as I could. I also read articles about it to understand its size and shape.

Calculate size

Using the images as a reference I calculated the estimated size of the Beresheet.

Making of the model

I used Fusion 360 to make the model. The source file is included.
