IKEA BROR Shelf Support Cable Clips
These small clips allow you to attach cable/zip ties to the side and center support brackets on an IKEA BROR shelving unit.They are very useful for securing wires that you want to run along under the shelves.
Printing
I highly recommend printing this out of PETG. The clips need to flex a bit when you install them. PETG works perfect in this regard - it will flex enough to attach the clip, but doesn't deform at all. If you use PLA, the parts are likely to deform and won't hold as securely. ABS may work as well, but I haven't tried it.
No supports are needed. Print them in the orientation in the STL file.
Installation
There are clips for attaching the cable tie parallel to the support and perpindicular to the support. I have used them with the medium-sized 21S cable ties, but they also work well with the more common smaller ones as well.
To clip them on the shelf slide them onto the shelf lip with the long leg of the part facing upwards (see diagram). Push it all the way on the lip, then rotate the long leg down. The clip should attach with a satisfying snap.
