Spool Holder - Core Edition for FormFutura's Big Cardboard Spools with 2.3kg 3.5kg.
And for those big industrial standard plastic spools with 2.3kg or 4.5kg Filament on it!
Also works with Prusa's 2kg rPLA and rPETG Spools!
Note: Industrial standard 8kg spools do not work. You need a bore (hole) diameter of 55~56mm.
Note: I'am also working on a spool holder for the 8kg industrial standard spools.
If you need cardboard spool adapter rings as seen in the picture, you can download them here:
https://www.printables.com/model/196297-carboard-spool-idler-ring-for-formfutura-dsm-and-m These rings will fit 55~56mm cores.
RC-1.6 - 16 August 2022
Some tighter tolerances and also added some dimples to the sides and stands so the parts snaps together. So when you pick it up it won't fall apart easily.
No need to reprint… it's just same as RC-1.5 with added dimples.

RC-1.5- 31 July 2022
Uses less material, I hope (feedback from the community).
Can also be printed on the Ender-3 Series (235x235 Bed)
Supports new revision of FormFutura's Big Cardboard Spools (these are wider) so maybe not less filament…
RC-1.1 - 16 June 2022
Removed my big logo from the side, now logo-less.
RC-1.0 - 15 June 2022
Do you use big plastic or cardboard spools with a bore (hole) diameter of 55~56mm.
This is the time to use an easy-to-print and great working spool holder for those big bois.
If you got a Prusa MK3S or MK3S+ you can just download the G-Codes and start printing.
If you want to slice it yourself, be sure you print the stands and sides 2 times duuuh…
Well Enjoy!
