update 7/11/25: added box options for heat inserts and hex nuts for the base, revised stand offs to work with inserts (thicker but tapered on top so they shouldn't hit any solder joints). currently untested/unprinted but should work with the lids no problem. no rail option included but can upload a modded rail version if requested.
inserts for the lid section on the box not included as I need to figure out a better option as the mounting points would need to be enlarged. so just plastic threads for those still. opinions on moving the lid mounts to the interior of the box? will have a mockup soon-ish.

edit:: added model with no side rails for those not attaching them to extrusions. 4/27/23

::edit:: The original lid didn't have recessed areas where the screws go, so depending on what you used the screws would sometimes hit the lid while putting in place. I took care of that by making a lid with recessed areas, and I'm happy with the result. It isn't in the images, but is included in the files (marked as revised at the end of file name).

Simply, a case to hold the BTT SKR E3 v3 board. Didn't find one I liked so I made one.
Originally for my Ender 3, box and lid have rails to put on inside of lower extrusion where the oem “case” was.
No, the lettering isn't there so don't worry (though if requested I can upload a version with them on). The “we brake for nobody” is a nod to one of my favorite movies.
Still in process of printing, though this version is just a shortened version of the one I'm currently housing my board in until this is printed out (this is the 4th version). The screw mounts work just fine though a bit tight in spots. I moved the fan mount to the top of the case, I don't think it'll get in the way of anything. Larger oval in back right of box to put lcd cable through (I believe I made it large enough to route through to inside of box).
All done in Tinkercad, not perfect but very workable. The top logo isn't a full cutout, just more of an engraving (moved toward the front for visibility when bed is fully back).
Print with top of lid flat to bed, and bottom of box to bed. Supports yes. Unless you have your printer dialed in well for the overhangs in the ovals and such - use the supports everywhere. Material is up to you (PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.)
3mm screws for the lid and board (I left the bottom of the box with through holes, in case you strip the plastic you can use longer screws with nuts on the underside - same for mounts on lid/box).
As always, I hope you enjoy this. Feel free to comment and feel free to recommend changes/adjustments.
