Custom trigger for the Virpil Controls VPC MongoosT-50CM2 Grip.
The trigger conforms better to the finger due to its double-curved shape. Better grip is provided by the vertical ridges. Together these features ensure your finger really locks into place and doesn't slip.
The removal of the protrusion of the side also makes the trigger a bit easier to flip down as it would get in my way when trying to flip it down. The cavity now added provides the same function but without getting in the way.
A 5mm ball magnet is used to retain the flip-up “button” activation. I purposely don't use the magnet from the original trigger so you can keep it as a backup.

Post-processing + Extra parts
- The nib which triggers the trigger button is slightly too long so you can fine-tune it with a bit of sandpaper or a metal file.
- 5mm Ball Magnet is needed to keep the functionality of the flip-up trigger switch.
- Glue to keep the magnet in place.
- This is not really needed as the magnet will be held in tightly by friction better save than sorry.
Tips & tricks
- The dimensions for the connecting piece are really accurate so make sure your printer is well calibrated.
- Correctly orient the magnet in the same orientation as the original so the flip-up trigger switch keeps working as before.
