Use this Thing to hold a dial gauge for levelling your replicator 2 build plate.

I used this dial gauge http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000LFYK0A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and these 10x1mm magnets http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00991BA5A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Designed from scratch but idea based on Thing 222379

Instructions

Print out the thing. Glue the magnets in place underneath (I used superglue) and insert the dial gauge - there should be enough friction to hold it firmly.

Levelling instructions:

  • Raise the build plate to the to and move the extruder to the centre of the build plate
  • Set the gap between the build plate and the nozzle using a piece of paper and the adjustment screws
  • Move the extruder out of the way and place the dial gauge into the centre of the build plate where the nozzle was. Zero the gauge.
  • Now adjust the screws so that the gauge reads 0 all over the build plate.
