I've always loved the German Messer Sword design, and decided to model my own Langes Messer (Long Knife).
I tried to keep the construction simple, but somewhat close to how a real Messer is assembled.

Printing:
I like my props to be fairly sturdy, so I suggest printing with 3+ perimeters and around 25%+ infill. Other than that, anything goes.
The pieces should fit relatively snugly together, so a small amount of sanding may be necessary if your printer calibration is a smidge off. A little Superglue will also be necessary if you want to really hold everything tightly.
Assembly should be very straight-forward. I like to assembled the blade and grip separately, then fit them both together at the end.
