A fine Christmas ball.

There are two ways of making it:

The first way is either mechanizing the leafs with a 0.5mm metal sheet with the DXF (I made them with aluminum) or print them flat, using theflat versions of the leaf. Then give them the shape using the molds; the "corrected" version for the metal leafs, which compensates for the metal bending, and the normal version for the plastic leafs, a hot air gun and some patience.

The second way is to print the 1mm plastic version of it, only possible with a SLS printer and use the 1mm body to assemble them.

Then the leafs can be glued to the body using a good glue, I used cyanocrylate.

The ball is a little bit delicate and hard to assemble, but the result is well worth it.

I also designed a case to protect it during boring, non-Christmas time.
