I don’t like all the bolts showing on my Vcore3 build. It’s a bit too industrial and unfinished for me. The top surface is a robust 1.2mm thickness for durability. The covers include a magnet mount for 5mm x 3mm disc magnets (I had some laying around) as I was concerned about them becoming loose if removed/refitted.
In the end, I’ve not used the magnets because the stiff/tight interference (push) fit works really well for me, and the magnet mount is not included in the rest of the covers.
NOTES:
- E-stop cover plate is design to fit my E-stop mounting bracket and will not fit a standard corner plate.
- These parts are an intentionally tight fit so that they do not vibrate loose at high printing speeds. You will need a tool (flat screw driver head or similar) to remove them if printed correctly.
