This is a small retractable, fully printed measuring tape.
You can measure down to the mm!
Print it in PLA at 0.1 mm layer height and follow the three easy steps down below to assemble it. Please note that the tape in the guide is not the final version, as it has not all the mm markings the STL provided has.
Step one:
Coil the tape 2 and a quarter times as shown in the picture down below:
Step two:
Insert the Coil into the Part A frame:
Step three:
Close the measuring tape with part B frame. it is important that the other end of the coil is inserted into the slid:
If you do not think that the print will hold on its own together, carefully clue the Frame together with some super glue.
