3D pen holder for the printer's frame

I often use 3D pen to correct minor printing failures, or weld parts together. I hate that useless holder wich came with the device. I thought the best place to store the 3D pen would be near or on the printer. This holder is easy to mount on the printer's frame.

Only 2 pieces of M3x8 screw and 2 pieces of M3 T-nut are required.

I didn't design a part for the dripping hot filament when the pen is in use. I only want to use the holder for store the 3D pen. So I will wait a few minutes and let the pen cool. But if somebody asks, I can make an advanced edition 😊

Printing

I printed it on my Anet A8 Plus. I used PLA. 0.3 mm layer height is plenty enough. I set the wall count to 3. This provides a stronger structure and does not require a high infill ratio. Some supports are required.
With these settings the printing took ca. 1 and a half hour.

Warning!

Make sure that this does not prevent the X-axis from moving up and down. If it does, choose another place to mount!

I experienced it myself. Don't fall into the same trap!

Important notice for the gcode files

I'm only uploading my gcode files to show the printing statistics. My printer is upgraded with a BLtouch sensor and modified firmware. So the gcode contains auto bed leveling. It may not work on stock printers!
