Wanted to add casters to an existing shelf as I couldn't find a deep enough shelf with wheels readily available. Important note, only used for shelf assembled in half height configuration. Not sure it would be sturdy enough for full capable height, use at your own risk.

The shelf I used.

Each caster I used is rated for 100lbs and the shelf is rated for 400lbs. I will never have this much weight on the shelf so I figured a hefty printed bracket would suffice. Been in use for a few weeks with occasional wheeling around and so far so good

BOM:

ItemQuantityDescription
#10-32 screw8Doesn't need to be this specific screw but its what I had on hand.
Washers8
Casters - Stem Mount2I used these and those. I wanted to use 2" casters but the stem was too small and upgraded to 3" for adequate stem length. They are 100% overkill in every other fascet.
Locking Casters - Stem Mount2

Print instructions:
10 walls (minimum?)
35% gyroid infill

Assembly:
- Temporarily insert shelf uprights into printed brackets and mark side holes for drilling.
- Remove printed bracket.
- Drill holes for screws.
- Screw casters into printed brackets.
- Reinsert shelf uprights into printed bracket.
- Install screws into printed brackets through shelf uprights.
-Assemble shelf with the bottom shelf on the second lowest slot (lowest slow will interfere with printed bracket. Make sure to put the locking caster somewhere you can reach them).

NOTE: I did not use the bolts and it hasn't been a problem yet...
