The standard clip on hose fitting has a small plastic ring in it that compresses the hose onto the the ‘tail’ of the fitting. This is that ring.
I found TPU to be a bit too soft. PETG seems to work well, but beware, it's a tricky beast to print. I reduced the print height and width, increased the number of perimeters and used and inner and outer skirt.
