The QuadLock-compatible interface on top doesn't have the standard twist-to-lock feature. The phone just sits on top of it. It's only there to ensure the phone is correctly aligned with the charging coil.

The wireless charger module I'm using has two status LEDs on it. To make them visible to the user, I used pieces of clear PETG filament as a poor-man's “light pipe”.

Printing Notes

Set Seam Position to “Random”, to get the nicest finish on the exterior of the charger.

The middle portion of the charger body requires supports, but only in one little place, where the two wiring passages meet.  A PrusaSlicer “support enforcer” can be drawn on here.

Assembly

  • Using a soldering iron, desolder the charger coil wires from the module PCB.
  • Reroute the inner end of the coil wire down through the center hole.
  • Place the charger coil inside the recess for it on the middle piece of the charger print, running the wires down through the channels inside the print.
  • Place the top of the charger (with the QuadLock interface) on top, and secure the top piece of the charger print on top of the coil, using three #2-56 machine screws.
  • Turn the charger upside down.
  • Use the soldering iron to reconnect the charger coil wires to the PCB.
  • Place the PCB in its approximate location, and place the bottom piece of the charger print on top, and secure with four #2-56 machine screws.
  • Plug in the charger.
  • Cut two 4" lengths of clear printer filament.  Make sure one end is cut flat and clean.
  • Push the clean ends of filaments into the holes on the front wall of the charger. They should come to rest on the LEDs on the charger module PCB.
  • With a phone on the charger (so both LEDs are on), adjust the positions of the light pipes to get the brightest light at the end.
  • Trim the ends of the light pipes flush with the housing.
