After spending some time building diy Drum triggers, I created this one.
This solid should work for most toms and snares.
Cut up a sponge and glue a piezo on it.

That's right, I mounted a digispark on mine and used it to show light effects when playing on the snare at christmas.
I also added the freecad file so you can edit the thing at free will, but please let me know when you use it and what you are doing with it. I would very much like that.
