This is a set of angle blocks that can be attached to the edge of a whetstone or other sharpening stone to provide a reference of the desired angle before taking each stroke on the stone. This helps beginners get used to holding an angle against the stone so they can get more consistent results. The blocks are angles 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 degrees. These are non-inclusive angles, meaning that when both sides of a blade are sharpened, the total angle would be double the angle of the block. The blocks are attached to the edge of the stone using a rubber band as seen in the pictures. This allows them to mount to a variety of shapes and sizes of stones.
